The Youth Education and Training Courses (CEF) are an opportunity for youngsters to complete their compulsory education, encouraging them to further study/ training as well as for the acquisition of professional skills through flexible solutions, according to their interests and meeting the needs of labor market.

Recipients:

  • Young people aged 15 years and below 23 years at risk of dropping out school or who have already left;
  • Can be integrated graduates under 15 years or over 23 years, exceptionally, if previously authorized by the Regional Director of Education and/or Employment Institute and Professional Training together with the sponsor of education, of young people under 15 years old;
  • Holders of complete 6th or 7th grade or with 8th grade attendance (for type 2 courses).
